[Bug 259740] [NEW] DNS: not able to use IPv6 Resolvers

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dnsutils

When IPv6 addresses for our resolvers are entered into /etc/resolv.conf
all dns lookups fail on Intrepid.

pmullen at ridcully:~/bind$ host www.google.ie
host: couldn't get address for '2001:770:e00e:1::1': address family not supported

Works on Hardy.
