Samba Authentication Error : possibly due to new authentication system ?
Ubuntu 8.04 dev branch Alpha6 fully updated as of march 20th

example:
default at Tiger:~$ smbpasswd
Old SMB password:
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Could not connect to machine 127.0.0.1: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Failed to change password for default

Cannot interface with samba to change password locally / enter password
on remote computer to access local share.  Also local samba frontend
gsamba doesn't work (probably due to this error).
