[Bug 472156] [NEW] delete key generates ~ in mysql-client

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mysql-client-5.1

Pressing Delete, PG Up, or PG Dn in mysql-client echoes a tilde (~)
instead of the expected deletion action. This behavior does not happen
in other client programs as Python, r, or the Bash shell itself.
