[Bug 482716] [NEW] eucalyptus-cloud not starting when separating cloud and cc

Following the guide on
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEC/PackageInstall I wanted to
seperate cloud from cluster controller. However, the cloud controller
fails to start for me. Here the complete history on the cloud
controller, after  installation:

    1  sudo apt-get update
    2  cd /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/
    3  sudo vi 80proxy
    4  sudo apt-get update
    5  sudo vi 80proxy
    6  sudo apt-get update
    7  sudo apt-get upgrade
    8  sudo apt-get install eucalyptus-cloud eucalyptus-walrus
    9  cd /etc/eucalyptus/
   10  ls
   11  sudo vi eucalyptus-cc.conf
   12  sudo vi eucalyptus-ipaddr.conf 
   13  sudo start eucalyptus-cc-registration
   14  cd /var/log/eucalyptus/
   15  ls -rtl
   16  tail -f cc-registration.log 
   17  sudo start eucalyptus-cc-registration
   18  cd /var/log/eucalyptus/
   19  ls -rtl
   20  tail -f cc-registration.log 
   21  ps aux | grep euca
   22  sudo start eucalyptus-cloud
   23  ps aux | grep euca
   24  history 
   25  sudo fdisk -l /dev/sdb
   26  sudo mount /dev/sdb /mnt/
   27  history > /mnt/eucalyptus-cloud.history
   28  history | sudo tee /mnt/eucalyptus-cloud.history

** Affects: eucalyptus (Ubuntu)

         Status: New
