Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ntp
When I so some action with network interfaces, NTP messages interrupt my
console output, after command promt returned. If ntp server doesn't
start very fast, the messages can be mixed with the output of next
commands for example.
root at ruclen:~# ifdown eth0; ifup eth0
* Stopping NTP server ntpd
...done.
root at ruclen:~# //continue working
root at ruclen:~# //continue working
root at ruclen:~#
root at ruclen:~# * Starting NTP server ntpd
...done.
I suppose the bug is in /etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate scrpit
