For your cups issue, it doesnt seem cups is running:

[2009/10/19 10:06:53,  0] printing/print_cups.c:103(cups_connect)
  Unable to connect to CUPS server localhost:631 - Connection refused

For your network connection issue, this looks weird:

ib/util_sock.c:1468(get_peer_addr_internal)
  getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected

Can you post your /etc/samba/smb.conf?
