It looks like some file corrupion. Please provide the output of these
two commands:

file /var/lib/dpkg/info/apache2.2-common.postinst
head -1 /var/lib/dpkg/info/apache2.2-common.postinst

You could also try "aptitude reinstall apache2.2-common"
