Hope this helps,
I was able to boot Server 2008 R2 and run with Maverick's seabios
bios.bin (0.6.0-0ubuntu1) file on Lucid on a 16 cpu (2/4/2) system
without a problem. I could not boot more than 4 cpus before with
Lucid's seabios (0.5.1-0ubuntu2).
Working configuration:
Linux ubuntu01 2.6.32-25-server #43~pre201008250901-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 25 17:08:36 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
QEMU PC emulator version 0.12.5 (qemu-kvm-0.12.5), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard
