SGABIOS hack is:

sudo dpkg-divert --local --rename --add /usr/share/qemu/vgabios-cirrus.bin
sudo ln .../sgabios.bin /usr/share/qemu/vgabios-cirrus.bin

(symlink is not enough for some reason)
