Thanks for reporting this bug, i couldn't find this reference in the
natty init scripts - but did find it in the current development version
(and debian unstable).

A slightly larger extract shows:

...
PROGRAM=/usr/bin/sensors

test -x $PROGRAM || exit 0
...

This means that the init script is testing that the programme is
executable before continuing.  I'm not sure i see the issue with this
bug.  I am going to mark it Incomplete, please provide rational why this
is a concern.
