Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

It looks like there is a problem with the configuration files supporting
you nagios3 installation; was this a clean install?  (i.e. nagios2 had
not been installed on this server before).

If nagios3 had been installed on the server previously, please try
executing the following commands to resolve the issue:

  sudo apt-get purge nagios3-common nagios3 nagios3-core nagios3-cgi
  sudo apt-get install nagios3

This should remove the old configuration files and install a fresh set.

If this was a clean install please can you attach the nagios3
configuration files located in /etc/nagios3 to this bug report.
