Hi Simon,

Thank you for taking the time to report bugs and trying to make Ubuntu
better.

Unfortunately, Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala its reaching its EOF (End of
Life) tomorrow April 30th. This means that Karmic is no longer
supported, and consequently, this bug won't be considered. More
information at [1].

I'd suggest you to upgrade to a newer Ubuntu release that is still
supported
