The only way that this problem can be reproduced is to connect up to the same configuration that I have, which is :-
Compaq Presario running Windows 7, which is directly connected to a Hp PhotosmartPlus B209a-m printer.
My computer is running UBUNTU  11:04 the printer is networked to the Windows 7 Machine,
ALL file-sharing is possible , the printer is recognised, but when asked to print the error is :- Unable to connect to CIFS Host.
When I was using UBUNTU 10:10 everything worked fine. The problem has only arisen since I upgraded to 11:04.
