** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: qemu-kvm

The version of qemu-kvm in lucid can't boot from a network card defined
  by -device-parameters.

Its probably the same bug as described in:
  https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=577851
+
+ SRU Justification:
+ 1. Impact: users cannot boot from network card which is defined with -device parameters
+ 2. How bug was addressed: a small patchset from upstream was cherrypicked
+ 3. Minimal patch: see attached debdiff
+ 4. TEST CASE: 'qemu-system-x86_64 -device rtl8139,vlan=0,id=net0,mac=52:54:00:82:41:fd,bus=pci.0,addr=0x4 -net user,vlan=0,name=hostnet0 -boot n -vnc :1'
+ 5. Regression potential: this patch tweaks a fragile blob of boot parameters code which we had already previously twiddled to make -boot once work. If there are regressions, they will likely emerge in the form of different behavior with 'boot' flags. However the patches are small and simple enough that regressions appear unlikely.
