Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

According to your log, you don't have a MySQL service running, that's
what causes bacula-director-mysql to fail, because it needs to add some
records and create users in the database:

Creating config file /etc/dbconfig-common/bacula-director-mysql.conf with new version
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2).
unable to connect to mysql server.
error encountered creating user:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
dbconfig-common: bacula-director-mysql configure: aborted.
dbconfig-common: flushing administrative password
dpkg : erreur de traitement de bacula-director-mysql (--configure) :

Could you ensure that you have a MySQL server running, and that you can
connect to it locally, and then trying the installation procedure for
bacula-director-mysql again? Also, this might have something to do with
your specific MySQL configuration, so please look at any changes or
customizations you may have made to the MySQL configuration files and
that could be causing the MySQL server to not run or not accept
connections.

Please let us know which results you get, so it can be determined
whether this is an actual bug or a problem with your specific
configuration.
