package slapd 2.4.28-1.1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

After this package failed to install during the upgrade to 12.04, I used
"sudo apt-get purge slapd" then "sudo apt-get install slapd" to do a
fresh install, yet the install problem keeps coming back.
