hi,
Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.4, MySQL 5.0.0 changed to 5.2
My solution was to:
To dump old bacula db's to text file
>mysqldump -u bacula -p --database bacula > bacula.txt
>mysql -u bacula -p < bacula.txt
Then update version:
>cd /usr/share/bacula-director
>gedit update_mysql_tables
and chaged line to db_name=bacula
Then save and start upgrade scrip:
>./update_mysql_tables -u bacula -p
Boot computer or re-start bacula.
