It sounds like (and the logs would confirm this) that you had a fairly
major problem during your upgrade:

Failed to process /etc/kernel/postinst.d at /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-3.2.0-24-generic.postinst line 1010.

I would try to complete the upgrade process by running:

  sudo apt-get dist-upgrade --fix-broken

Hopefully this should resolve you original upgrade issue which in turn
will fixup net-snmp.
