Just for clarity, could you describe how you upgraded?
  The ami reported here is 'ebs/ubuntu-maverick-10.10-i386-server-20101225'
  Meanting to upgrade to 12.04, you would have first had to upgrade to 11.04 then 11.10, then 12.04.
