Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

Ubuntu is in sync with Debian on tomcat7, and it sounds like this is a
bug which would equally apply to Debian. So the next course of action
here is to check if the bug affects Debian, and if it does then to file
a bug there if there isn't already one filed. When Debian fixes the bug,
Ubuntu can sync.
