Hello Nico,

please test this hotfix:

In file /etc/init/mongodb.conf

[...]
pre-start script
    mkdir -p /var/lib/mongodb/
    mkdir -p /var/log/mongodb/
+    touch /var/log/mongodb/mongodb.log
+    chown -R mongodb /var/lib/mongodb/
+    chown -R mongodb /var/log/mongodb/
end script
[...]

and please report about the result
