Hi,

Are you running 12.04, or 14.04?  If 12.04, would it be possible to test
14.04 to see if it has the same issue?  If 14.04, could you try with the
following ppa:  https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-virt/+archive/virt-daily-
upstream    to see if the very latest upstream qemu still has the same
behavior?
