Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

tomcat7 is in universe in 12.04, so is community supported only. If
somebody prepares a suitable update, the security team will review and
sponsor it. Otherwise, no update is planned. See bug 1115053 for the
last time this was done.

It is fine to use this bug to track the need for this update.
