glancing at journalctl kernel log, these errors are logged:
ntpdate: Can't find host ntp.ubuntu.com : Name or service not known (-2)
ntpdate: no server can be used, exiting
NetworkManager: <error> [1401512204.369318] [nm-dns-dnsmasq.c:396] update(): dnsmasq owner not found on bus
DNS: plugin dnsmasq update failed
systemd-tmpfiles[3408]: stat(/run/user/1000/gvfs) failed: Permission
denied
