Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

As Vivid is on 1.7.0-1 now, I'll mark this Fix Released for Vivid, and
create a task for 14.04.

We cannot update 14.04 to a newer version. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates for rationale. But if
somebody can provide a minimal patch that fixes this issue in 14.04 then
we can apply that.
