Hi Dave,
Thanks for reporting this. Did you upgrade from a prior version of
python-cryptography by any chance? It looks like a prerm script is
failing on a getrandom() call, however I don't see a prerm script in the
xenial package or any other prior releases that I could find. From the
attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt:
Preparing to unpack .../python-cryptography_1.2.3-1ubuntu0.1_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking python-cryptography (1.2.3-1ubuntu0.1) over (1.2.3-1) ...
