russian fonts in console

Just a silly shot into the dark:
$ apropos font
consolechars(8)- load EGA/VGA console screen font, screen-font map,  
and/or application-charset map.
...
showcfont (1)  - displays all characters in the current screen-font.
splitfont (1)  - extract characters from an ISO-type font.

So the most interesting is consolechars - maybe ist can help you.
