Good news!
The iMedia Server is up and running thanks to everyone help and openSUSE.
Well, I cheated. I'm used to how easy somethings are in openSUSE, so I used
it to link all of my drive up (all but the boot drive). openSUSE has me used
to using a GUI in Linux, so that's about how I can get around some things.
When I have to, I'll use the shell.
Don't worry, the server is running Kubuntu. :)
Some one made a note about using LinuxMCE. Sorry, I can't use it. It is
running on AMD64. I'm not good at all when it comes to compiling software
so, I'll just stick with FireFly. If FireFly on openSUSE worked like Ubuntu,
I'd still be with it.
Got the remote login running (not session based as SUSE is). Now if only I can
get SAMBA to work for my XP systems. It's always fight. NFS is fine, but
you know, Windows doesn't support it. Gsambad is good if I can find a manual
for it.
Take care,
-Damon
