Right.

Kubuntu and Xubuntu have their support channel, I don't see why
ubuntu-server shouldn't have.

I think development discussion can stay at ubuntu-server. While most of
the users at #ubuntu aren't interested in development and 'how things
work', admin/users of ubuntu-server are mostly interested in that
development of ubuntu-server.
