libvirt and bridge age

There are several open bugs in launchpad about bridging with
qemu/kvm.  So far, IIRC there is one which is due to a (now
fixed, at least in -proposed) libvirt bug with MAC address
choices, but the rest are looking to be either kernel or
environment bugs.  Not related to qemu, as proven by reproducing
the symptom using nothing but network namespaces and veth tunnels.

Can you please report a new bug on launchpad?  Please do not
mark it as a duplicate of another unless you are sure - there
is one which I think yours is a dup of, but a lot of time has
been wasted by people saying "me too" when their symptoms (and
bugs) were actually different.
