Both bugs above are related to the same issue. It was fixed upstream in
versions 5.7.42 and 8.0.33. Not sure how to proceed with those fixes, it
seems that we update mysql with microreleases in stable Ubuntu releases,
could Lena take a quick look at this? TIA!

This is a backport request of the IMDSv2 support feature to Focal (and
maybe Bionic?). This is a dup of LP #1870244. Paride was working on that
but there is no update for more than a year, I added a comment to see what
are the plans at the moment.
