  - Another case of an apache+php purge/reinstall sequence going wrong.
    Spent some time trying to trace through postinst to see what kind of
    inconsistent state could cause the error, but not enough info.
  - Requested additional apache files / journalctl, and a more detailed
    log of the operation.

  - Patch on a plate, after following through a few links to the
    upstream commit.  Looks like Christian was involved in the upstream
    discussion already.
  - I worked on seeing what'd be involved in reproducing it.  I didn't
    have time to try it myself, but left notes as to what I think would
    need done.
