# Bugs
All bugs either fixed, or being worked on
This is an old bug, not touched on since March 16 2025:
LP: #2002994 openssh sshd_config makes some changes awkward
It's about config snippets in sshd_config.d/ not being able to
override settings from the main config file, because of the ordering:
the main config first includes all the config snippets, and then sets
its own default, which can change what was set in the .d directory.
This is not "just a bug". It will be quite an effort to handle this
gracefully, including upgrades. Honestly, I don't see this being
handled anytime soon. I left a comment in the bug, and marked its
importance as wishlist.

Issues:
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/issues/216
The reporter said they might create a merge request, which was gladly
accepted, but I don't think it ever hapened. I pinged them in the
issue.
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/issues/263
This is about new documentation content on how to add a new AD/DC to
an existing samba domain. I added our new "size" tag to it, and it's
size large, and lef tit open.
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/issues/267
How to list existing users. I had answered before in the bug, and this
time I added a size small tag to it. I might pick this one up in my
efforts of responding to community issues/contributions, and added it
to my july card for evaluation.
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/issues/266
Confusion between update and upgrade, and release upgrade. I added a
size tag (small). I'm not fully convinced we need to change anything,
but I'm heavily biased, having been around ubuntu for so long. Maybe a
short table at the top with a succinct explanation about the
differences? Ok, tagged server-todo, so at least we discuss it.
Found this old PR
(https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-server-documentation/pull/179)
that has a comment/question from me, I pinged Bryce.
