### Bug Triage ###
Bugs last updated on 2025-02-26 (Wednesday)
Date range identified as: "Thursday triage"
Found 26 bugs
LP: #2098522 | Incomplete | package mysql-server-8.0 8.0.41-0ubuntu0.24.04.1 failed to … |
- Lukas triaged this earlier, and the reporter actually responded;
rather uncommon for an apport crash bug!
- I found numerous other reports online with the same error message
about 'abstractions/mysql'. Those seem to involve some combination
of uninstalling and reinstalling various things possibly including
mysql, php, and apport. A lot of random workarounds, which I only
skimmed through, but no clear solution. The forum posts go back a
while, but we don't appear to have other bugs reported about in
launchpad so it seems a long standing but uncommon corner case.
- I retitled the bug, shared links to the forums but cautioned the
reporter about following random advice on the internet, and asked if
they could try to reconstruct the events that led their system to
this state.
--> I left the bug in Incomplete state, however this seems like a legit
issue worth investigating even if the reporter doesn't get back.
I'll leave the decision to Lena but this might be worth including in
the backlog, if not (yet) server-todo.
LP: #2077336 | Incomplete | libvirt | Creation of armv7l vm fails due to tpm-tis |
- The reporter indicates they are willing to handle the testing for us
since it's HW-specific. Since a fix is known, I suppose this can
proceed to SRU now.
--> Already marked server-todo, with Lukas assigned. Set to Triaged.
LP: #2097480 | New | libsdl2 | vrc-3nt joystick dongle is not working in ubuntu 24.10 wine… |
- Upstream indicates a bug in systemd that is now patched
--> Reassigned to systemd

None new
But I did close one old issue:
* PackageMerging examples out of date? #112
- https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-maintainers-handbook/issues/112
- Christian and Mitchell already identified that showing old series is
ok for this document.
--> I went ahead and closed the issue out.

--> I verified the obsolete dialog is no longer displayed when
installing kdump-tools, and then filed a PR to remove mention of it
from the documentation.
