# Bugs

Some old bugs awakened by the mass "kernel-daily-bug" tagging. Worth noting are:

LP: #1836701 ipmitool
Old bug against bionic, where the kernel is the suspect. I took the
opportunity to ask for dmesg, or alternatively, apport-collect, logs,
as the kernel task is still incomplete without these.

LP: #2069505 spamassassin release upgrade error (22.04 -> 24.04)
The reporter provided more information as requested, and looks like
the problem is a syntax change in the parameters of the RelayCountry
plugin. Spent quite some time setting up a reproducer, and after that
I don't believe it's the RelayCountry plugin that is at fault anymore.
I left a comment in the bug with my findings, and further questions,
and left it in the "incomplete" status.

LP: #2083029 netplan.io "try" doesn't recover
Looks like this can proceed now, I left a comment asking if that's the case.

LP: #2104087 probert segfault
Unsure if this still needs a fix in probert, so I left a question in a comment.

LP: #2107550 ipmitool showing date twice
Good report, with details and troubleshooting. I found what I think is
the correct patch upstream, and prepared a PPA. Left a comment in the
bug asking if the reporter would mind testing that when it finishes
building.
