Hi guys,
We did great for the event. It seems that we got the most visitors on
our booth and we had the most number of members present, 7!
I would like to thank everyone for making this event possible and would
like to applaud all of you guys for taking your time off for this event.
Which without you, this could not be possible.
Thank you all for your belief in the Ubuntu philosophy and especially
the responsibility given to me in managing the progress and our
participation for this event.
I would really love to see we continue to work together, be it in the
forums, IRC, and any other stuff related to Ubuntu and in Singapore.
Maybe we could have an outing (without discussing about Ubuntu!)
together such as cycling or bowling.
What we have done for Software Freedom Day Singapore 2008 is great! For
now, let's make a vision where someday, sometime, everyone will be using
Ubuntu, and we are there to celebrate with them. Let's not make our
efforts all go to waste. Perseverance is the key to achieving goals, and
with a Team like this, I believe anything is possible.
There will be events coming up, such as talks, meetings, and stuff for
our new members and users. I will try my best to organise events for the
Team.
Thank you all!
Heidir
