[Ubuntu-SG] ubuntu for netbook

hello, i have recently bought a netbook when i was in china and i am trying to install ubuntu netbook remix. i have had difficulty and as i am traveling at the moment i cannot trouble shoot or redownload etc. i am checking the md5sum of my download but i am wondering if there is anyway i can get hold of a ready burnt cd of any linux operating system which will run on my netbook: hasee mj125. 10.2"screen. atom processor, 2gb ram. 

when i tried to install it removed windows and i was left with an err#5 which i didn't understand being new to linux. i am currently running off of a live pen drive but it wont install and i have a problem with my wireless using this configuration. 

when i checked the integrity the machine said there were 3files with errors. not sure what this means.
