Hello All,
Tom Goh of Singapore Linux Meetup Group is arranging for a booth at OSSPAC (
http://www.osspac.com/) which will be Mon - Wed, 16 - 18 Feb 2009. He is
asking for groups interested in participating in the booth. If I can get in
for free as "staff" I would be happy to present on Ubuntu for TUSG. Is
anyone else interested?
I have copied the text of Tom's note below.
Cheers

Hi All,
*EVENT*
I will need some people to help man the booths during those days.
OSSPAC has offered us a booth if we would like to do some promotion for our
groups (SLMG, FOSA and Software Freedom Day)
We can also invite a few other groups to attend and do some promotion.
The idea is to have some information pamphlets about each of our
organizations and potentially recruit people for SFD 2009
Let me know if you have any suggestions of what we can do and who we can
invite.
Other Groups:
Ubuntu Group
PHP Group
Java Group
...
The Meetup.com site has a bunch of promotional material that we can print up
for SLMG
*Tickets*
we have two tickets. I am not sure if the tickets are for the booths
members or additional personnel. I think it will be for additional
personnel.
I would prefer to hand them out to people who really can't afford it and
really want to go and are actually active and participate in the community.
Let me know if you know anyone who wants to go or if you are interested.
Tom
