[Ubuntu-SG] The ubuntu.sg web site

Hi All,

I agree with Yi Hao that it will be a sorry state of affairs if we cannot
muster enough volunteers/time to run our ubuntu.sg.

However, CDR's email of 06:56 this morning raises other more serious
concerns, namely the unreliability/uncontactability of the web-host. To be
deprived of basic website admin privileges/functionalities is - imho - a
rather serious handicap. Given the state of Open Source today, we don't
need fanciful and esoteric features and functionalities, just access to
basic ones, and ability to change configurations and add functionalities are
pretty basic.

Yes, we can leave things as they are, but we should also actively explore
boosting the reliability of the current web-host or seriously consider
moving to one that is more dependable/accessible.

Cheers.
