ucimf-openvanilla is required to make ucimf, the input method framework for Linux unicode framebuffer console, to work. It was in Debian NEW queue for more than three weeks thus failed to hit Maverick before DIF. Though there is a bug that prevents this package getting into Debian Squeeze, it doesn't really influence its function or security.
I am the only Uploader of this package in Debian, the bug will be fixed soon because I am now coordinating with the upstream author to make a big change to satisfy the fix. But perhaps it will take a quite long time which I am now sure whether I can make it before the Beta freeze for Maverick. So, please do sync it to Maverick to make it work.
