Bug description:
Please sync x11proto-core 7.0.17-1 (main) from Debian experimental (main)
It is one of the components required for xserver 1.9 that is targetted
for inclusion in maverick.

Changelog entries since current maverick version 7.0.16-1:

x11proto-core (7.0.17-1) experimental; urgency=low

  * Get rid of the x-dev transitional package.
  * Rename the build directory to not include DEB_BUILD_GNU_TYPE for no
    good reason.  Thanks, Colin Watson!
  * Remove myself from Uploaders
  * New upstream release.
  * Bump xutils-dev build-dep for xorg-macros.
  * Update debian/copyright.
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.0, no changes.
