I don't see the ubuntu changes in the debian packages:

Bug description:
Please sync galternatives 0.13.5+nmu2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
There are no important diffs between packages, only XS-Python-Version and
dates in po files.

The package builds well in maverick pbuilder.
