Your debdiff from comment #33 does build for me in pbuilder, but it is
missing a build depends for libindicate and doesn't explicitly enable
libindicate so it builds without indicator support.  If you add the
build depends and enable it with configure i get the same failure in
pbuilder for maverick.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: liferea

Just as gwibber, pidgin, empathy and evolution, liferea should be held available in the indicator applet because it clearly belongs to the communication/news department as well. It would be nice to see the count of unread messages, to be able to activate the window or to start the application.
