[Bug 1008492] [NEW] Merge with Debian

This package has had a fun history: Ubuntu uploaded a fork ahead of
Debian, where the maintainer was MIA for quite some time. Recently some
others managed to take over the package and bring it up to date.

We can now merge it. I've opted to drop most of our changes where they
aren't essential

  - Separate -doc package (docs are in the -dev package now)
  - Some superfluous BDs

And have only kept the change to build for multiarch.
