Can you add a COPYING file? Also:

./bin/ubuntu-core-prepare-upgrade.sh: GPL (v2)
./bin/ubuntu-core-apply.py: GPL (v2)

while d/copyright says it's GPL-3.0+.

The changelog entry could also close LP: #1380674.

Apart from that: good work!
