I built the debian/sid branch in ppa:pushkarnk/merges-ppa and ran the
dep8 tests.

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* d/ruby-tests.rake: Define env var MT_COMPAT for compatibility
with Minitest 5.20.0 in Ruby 3.3 (LP: #2077617)

The new upstream version is adapted to Ruby 3.3.
