The fact this is limited to jammy makes it difficult to sponsor this, as
I can't simply upload it to the development series. I'm going to remove
ubuntu-sponsors from the subscription list as I don't think there's much
I (or another sponsor) can do with this, yet.

For the time being it's probably best off living in its PPA (which might
be semi-officially recommended to users via the jammy release notes, for
instance, with appropriate caveats around support expectations and what
will happen on dist-upgrade).

If/when a version becomes available that can be uploaded to the devel
series, please re-subscribe ubuntu-sponsors.

Title:
  [needs-packaging] mediatek-camisp-dkms

Status in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Description:
  MediaTek Camera ISP 70/71 drivers
This package provides kernel drivers for Camera ISP 7 is a proprietary hardware in MediaTek SoC, like MT8195/MT8188 series.
The source relies on compiler flags to provide drivers for platform MT8195 and MT8188. Since the output driver names and compatible strings in the device tree are identical for both platforms, integration into the kernel source tree is not feasible.

  SPECIAL NOTE:
This package is only for MediaTek 5.15 kernel, which is in Jammy series at the moment. The driver will be rewritten for MediaTek 6.6 kernel so only Jammy series is to be considered.

  License: GPL v2 only
