Yeah, it pretty much comes down to theming. If we are prepared to drop
our own, the solution is quite simple.
But, if we do want our own custom desktop specific for audio use, with
absolute control of every single service in the system we need our own
desktop seed and settings. We aren't doing that currently. Our desktop
meta is an old version of Xubuntu's with a few changes since, so it's
not like we would be dropping our own desktop setup - since we have
none, so to speak.
