System hang: Problem with /build/buildd/linux-rt-2.6.28/arch/x86/kernel/signal_32.c [Was: dpkg crashes GNOME on UbuntuStudio 9.04]

This is a known bug and there is bug lodged here.

I have appended the details below to the bug report.
Since the UbuntuStudio is unstable on my notebook then I shall use the
non-realtime kernel for the timebeing, and shall consider using the next
release of UbuntuStudio.
A shame because I am really impressed with the visual layout of Studio.
Gnome looks very nice on it. Is there a easy way to have the same
UbuntuStudio layout/theme on Ubuntu? Can I download the theme from
somewhere?
