yea. the funny thing was, that i needed this usb-midi-interface for my
crapy winXP-pc to edit a synthie with a windows-only-software. so i
ordered this cheap swiss-sonic-thing. it worked fine with linux - but
there was no way to run it with windows. now, i got a cakewalk UM-1G,
which works fine. but thats not part of my original question.
i just need the usb-audio-interface as a gift to a friend, to help her
with her first steps of electronic-music. well acutally, the first steps
are already done... but shes producing with a not-at-all-fast-laptop and
the intern sound-card.
so thank you for all suggestions. i will check them all out.
i would be glad if somebody can send me a circuit diagram of a pre-amp.
or a link. it will help me maybe with another project. (i will tell you
more, if its more then an idea). but no hurry...
for the moment, i'm looking for a interface with integrated pre-amp.
